Last year, we started this special event. For us, this was also exciting and new. However, after seeing everyone with tears and smiles enjoying this evening, we knew we wanted this to return annually. After all, the acoustics, intimacy and food make for a very special setting. The evening proceeded as follows:

The story of mezzo-soprano Annemie Vallino - Ravetta and soprano Véronique Meuffels began 40 years ago, when Annemie founded her singing institute Vocaal totaal.
Six years later, Véronique crossed the threshold there to further refine her singing technique. What began as a bond between singing teacher and student grew into an equal artistic collaboration.
They have now been performing together on various stages at home and abroad for decades. Their voices have perfectly matched each other over the years, with the history of the singing institute being the basis for their unique sound and musical understanding.
On Friday 27 February, at the opera dinner, they will both let their voices shine solo and also blend together in the most beloved opera duets.

Dinner starts at 6pm.
At the toast at the start of dinner, the drinking song ‘Libiamo from La Traviata’ is sung.

Between the 1st and 2nd aisles, they sing 3 pieces (about total time 12 to 15 minutes). Each 1 solo and 1 duet.

Between the 2nd and 3rd aisles, they sing 3 pieces ( about total time 12 to 15 minutes). Each 1 solo and 1 duet.

To conclude the dinner, they sing 1 more duet.
